Trained at RADA, then spent two and a half years with the RSC followed by a number of theatre productions.
Began an entertainment company in 1990 and worked as actor, writer, comedian and producer, mainly in the corporate world. Started making films in the early part of this century and works as a writer, director and editor (filming other actors). Ian's work is now divided between theatre and films (mainly making the films but acting in theatre).
Recent theatre work includes 'Belongings' by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm, at The Hampstead Theatre and Trafalgar Studios, and '66 Books' at the new Bush Theatre.
